The extremely good insulation value of Polyplus is in sharp contrast with that of the glass edge. This means that condensation may occur at the edges of the glass. The better the insulation value of the framework, the less this effect will occur.
For the purpose of accommodating this, you can use a thermal insulation spacer in the insulating glass, which will reduce the heat loss at the edges of the glass to a minimum, and which will reduce the risk of condensation. The thermal spacer disrupts the cold bridge effect of the edge so that the glass edge on the inside stays warmer. This has a positive influence on determining the Psi value, which applies to the calculation of the Uw value of the framework. The thermal spacer can be applied in all our insulating glass products.
